Angela Huff

Costume Designer Angela Huff was born and educated in Duesseldorf, Germany and has worked in London, Los Angeles, and New York. She recently designed the costumes for Opera Moderne’s critically acclaimed production of Viktor Ulmann’s Kaiser of Atlantis, as well as Britten’s Turn of the Screw. Ms. Huff has worked on numerous feature films, including Little Women, Gulliver’s Travels, and The Crucible. She collaborated in London with opera director Philip Parr on several productions, amongst others La Bohème, Così fan tutte, and The Magic Flute. She has designed many productions for the Dicapo Opera Theatre, the National Opera Touring Company, and the Encompass New Opera Theatre, as well as The Libertine for the Playhouse Creatures. Some of her designs are displayed in the diorama at the Globe Theatre in London. Currently Ms. Huff is working on a new Fantasy Opera Burlesque for the Hot Box Girls in collaboration with Opera Moderne.
