Mark Watson, Bass Baritone, studied on full scholarship at The Juilliard School’s post-graduate opera program, The American Opera Center and went on to win prizes in national and international vocal competitions.

He has performed roles with Opera Orchestra of New York, the Baltimore Opera, Michigan Opera Theater, the Connecticut Opera, and other regional companies.  Mark has sung concerts, operas and oratorios in Israel, Italy and Belgium and on national television in Japan.  He has sung in all the major concert venues in New York City.

Mark writes for Classical Singer Magazine, is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, and was the assistant to Gian Carlo Menotti at the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy. He is on the Advisory Board of Opera Index and on the panel of experts for Career Bridges.

Mark studied extensively with British voice coach, author, director and former Head of Voice at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Patsy Rodenburg. He is a certified Patsy Rodenburg Associate (PRA).  In the summer he teaches at the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program in Greve, Italy. 

He founded a 501(c3) charity called Hearts Across the Ocean (Kids Saving Kids) which unwrote life-saving heart operations for impoverished children in India.  He is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson for Sotheby’s International Realty.
